Joyce, Task Force on the Attempted Assassination of Donald Trump Visit Butler, Pennsylvania
WASHINGTON, D.C. – On Monday, Congressman Dave Joyce (OH-14) and his colleagues on the House Task Force on the Attempted Assassination of Donald J. Trump visited Butler, Pennsylvania. The Members toured the Butler Farm Show and the AGR building, where the assassination attempt took place, and met with state and local law enforcement who were tasked in helping to secure the rally site on July 13th.
“We got a firsthand look at just how close the shooter was to President Trump, surveyed the site, including the security perimeter Secret Service established in preparation for the event, and walked through the sequence of events,” said Congressman Joyce. “As former prosecutors, law enforcement officers, and veterans, we will work in a bipartisan fashion to ensure this kind of disaster never happens again.”
