Donald Trump's running mate says the former president would oppose any attempt to pass a nationwide ban on abortion.
Appearing on NBC's Meet The Press, Sen. JD Vance said Trump "explicitly" told him he would veto any federal abortion ban approved by Congress.
He said Trump, who has repeatedly mentioned leaving abortion rights to individual states, "wants to end this culture war over this particular topic
