A $30 billion merger is turning the snacking world on its head.
Mars, the makers of M&Ms, Snickers, and more, is acquiring Kellanova, whose brand portfolio includes Pop-Tarts, Pringles, and Rice Krispies Treats, among others.
Combined, the two companies will control about 8% of the snack food market.
The deal will be completed in the first half of 2025
