The Cleveland Guardians forced a four-game split in their series with the Minnesota Twins following a 5-3 win at Target Field. The Guardians scored four runs in the top of the sixth to go up for good. David Fry hit a go-ahead home run in the inning before Brayan Rocchio, Steven Kwan, and Will Brennan followed up with RBI hits. Jose Ramirez also went deep in the victory, while Tanner Bibee earned his tenth win by holding Minnesota to a run on six hits in five-and-two-thirds innings. The Guardians hold a three-and-a-half game lead over Minnesota in the AL Central race and will host the Cubs tonight.
