A new malware app for Android phones can drain your bank account of up to $16,000 in a matter of moments, experts warn.

The app, called BingoMod, is disguised as a seemingly legit anti-virus tool with a name like Antivirus Cleanup, Chrome Update, WebSecurity or even AVG Antivirus and Security, according to Cleafy security experts. It’s a remote access Trojan, which means attackers will have full access to your phone once it’s installed, Cleafy reports.

However, keeping safe from BingoMod is relatively easy. Once the app is installed, it asks for permissions to access Accessibility Services – which gives it the OK to access everything on your phone. All you have to do is deny it, according to Cleafy experts.
