A pair of NASA astronauts left stranded in space gave a press conference from the International Space Station on Wednesday.

Barry 'Butch' Wilmore and Sunita Williams have spent the last month aboard the ISS because of mechanical issues with the Boeing Starliner spacecraft.

Despite the issues, Wilmore told reporters they were "absolutely confident" the Starliner will be able to return them home safely.

Williams said "this was a test flight and we were expecting to find some things, and so we are finding stuff and we are correcting it."

They arrived at the ISS on June 6th on the first manned voyage for the Starliner. NASA has promised to bring them home "at the right time."
