HOW MUCH WALMART PRICES HAVE GONE UP IN 2 YEARS

  • We all know that most things are more expensive than they used to be, but a Walmart shopper is sharing exactly how much prices have gone up.
  • TikToker @sewerlidd posted a video after looking through his Walmart order history on the app, showing a delivery order he made two years ago of 53 items for $126.67.
  • He clicked the “reorder all” button to see how much it would cost now and was shocked that those exact same items would now cost $414.39.

A trip down the aisles of any store reminds us that most things are more expensive than they used to be, but a TikToker is showing exactly how much prices have increased at Walmart in the last few years. Musician and TikTok creator @sewerlidd recently posted a video comparing the retailer’s prices from two years ago and now, and it’s almost unbelievable.

He shared the clip after looking through his Walmart order history on their app and it shows a delivery order from two years ago that was a total of 53 items for $126.67. "A whole month of groceries, just for me basically," @sewerlid recalls. And while looking at the order, he saw a “reorder all” button on the app, and he wanted to see how much those exact same items would cost today, so he clicked it.

While he knew it would be a lot more today, he was shocked by the increase. Brace yourself - those same 53 items that were $126.67 in 2022 would now cost a total of $414.39. "That is four times more," he says. "How? I feel like I'm going to be sick." People in the comments section are sympathetic, including one who writes, “I knew it was going to be bad. I didn’t know it was gonna be this bad!”
