The Cleveland Guardians dropped their weekend series with the Kansas City Royals after falling 6-2 at Kauffman Stadium yesterday. The Guardians gave up the first six runs of the game and didn't get on the board until Jose Ramirez and Josh Naylor each drove in a run in the top of the eighth. Logan Allen was charged with his fourth loss after surrendering three runs on six hits in four-and-a-third innings. Cleveland is still in first place in the AL Central at 52-and-30. The Guardians host the White Sox tomorrow night.
