(Cleveland) - A Cuyahoga County Grand Jury has indicted three men in the murder earlier this year of a woman who was shot to death in front of her two daughters. However, one of the three men is still on the run.

49-year-old Jamar Skanes, 34-year-old Alontez Beasley, and 43-year-old Clarence Bennett have been indicted on charges including Aggravated Murder, and Conspiracy to Commit Murder, in January's murder of Alyson Appling-France. Skanes and Beasley were arrested shortly after the murder, but the U.S. Marshals Service Violent Fugitive Task Force is still looking for Bennett, photos of whom are above.

On January 10, 2024, Bennett followed Appling-France to a Target store, watching her and her daughters, ages 6 and 10, get out of the vehicle. They went into the Target and came back to the car, driving home. Bennett then called Skanes and Beasley to tell them Appling-France was headed home. The person driving Appling-France turned into her apartment complex driveway near Detroit Avenue and Berea Road. Skanes and Beasley were waiting. As Appling-France got out of the vehicle and began to unload groceries, prosecutors say Beasley shot her 17 times. Skanes and Beasley drove off. The person who drove Appling-France home took her to the hospital, where she died.

Skanes and Beasley were arrested on January 26. If you have any information about Bennett, call U.S. Marshals at 1-866-4-WANTED.
