A Florida man is reportedly in critical condition after rescuers pulled him out of a major apartment fire – only to discover he’d been shot multiple times.
The incident occurred Monday morning in downtown Miami, where arriving firefighters found “multiple” people stranded on their balconies at the Temple Court apartment complex, says Mayor Francis Suarez. No information has been released about the gunshot victim.
Firefighters were able to quash the flames by late morning, Suarez says. It’s unclear how many additional people were injured in the fire.
