A New York City couple made the catch of a lifetime on a recent magnet fishing trip.
James Kane and Barbie Agostini were fishing in a park in Flushing Meadows when their magent latched onto an old safe. Inside was a plastic bag containing $100,000 in cash.
The couple reported their find to police and were told they were free to keep the money.
They think the safe was dumped in the water by thieves who didn't know what was inside.
