Downtown Cleveland Summer Programming Continues

We produce unique urban experiences, animating Downtown’s streets, parks, and public spaces through all four seasons.

  • Food Truck Series (Monday through Friday 11:30am- 1:30pm locations vary)
  • Summer Music Series (Free summer concert series with a variety of bands and genres beginning June 4th.)
    • In addition to our summer music series the RRHOF is also having a live and local music series, Rock Hall Live, featuring some of the best Cleveland and NEO talent around
  • Recreation Series (Harbor Hustlers Run Club, North Coast Namaste, and more!)
  • Holiday Celebrations (Come downtown to enjoy MetroHealth Cleveland Juneteenth Freedom Festival Saturday, June 15th and Light up the Lake - 4th of July Fireworks presented by MinuteMen

Take A Hike Tours Return

  • Take A Hike in-person tours return June 1st with five new and expanded tours!
  • Now entering its sixteenth year, Take A Hike Guided Tours are seven days a week throughout the summer.
  • All tours are free and open to the public, no more than two miles, and are approximately 90-minutes, with the exception of Friday's lunchtime tours that are only 45 mins long.

Investment and New Business in Downtown Cleveland

  • Following a $90 Million renovation Hotel Cleveland opens June 4th  with two new restaurants:
    • Maker – Featuring craft cocktails and sharable plates
    • Mowrey's - Early Breakfast and lunch
  • Cohen & Co. has secured naming rights for the 16-story U.S. Bank Centre building (1350 Euclid) with the renewal of their lease for 10 years
    • They are retaining the space they have and they have the ability to expand within the building which they say they are likely to do during the lease turn.
    • “Creating an environment people want to come to”
    • Cohen’s & CO’s staff is 200, triple the size it was when they moved to the building
  • The Museum of Illusions will open a location in the May Co. building, adjacent to Public Square on June 1st.
    • This 9,200 sq ft exhibit space offers a unique, unconventional spin on art, education, and entertainment through interactive and immersive experiences.
    • This will be the 13th new business in Downtown Cleveland this year.

What These Numbers Mean:

  • Downtown Cleveland’s recovery ranks #1 in Ohio, #3 in the Great Lakes Region, and #5 in the Midwest
  • Weekend foot traffic reached pre-pandemic levels for the first time in April
  • Overall Recovery and Workforce Recovery rates were higher than one year ago
  • Office Worker Recovery rates are above the national average, as more office-based employers require workers to spend time in the office to build culture, promote mental health, and foster innovation and collaboration
  • Visitor Recovery remains near pre-pandemic levels and steady year-over-year
