(Cleveland) A six-month investigation has led to one of the largest drug seizures in Cuyahoga County history. The Cleveland Division of Police along with the FBI and a multi-agency unit known as the Cartel Gang Narcotics and Laundering Task Force executed multiple search warrants across greater Cleveland simultaneously. From the City's 2nd, 3rd, and 5th districts as well as in Highland Heights and Westlake.
Agents seized 143-pounds of suspected fentanyl pills and powder with an estimated street value of $9.5 million, along with 3-pistols, 2-rifles, a pill making press machine, and other agents. Two people, ages 40 and 43, were arrested on federal warrants. The suspects identities haven't been released.
