The newest Rock Hall inductees are: Mary J. Blige. Cher. Dave Matthews Band. Foreigner. Peter Frampton. Kool & The Gang. Ozzy Osbourne. A Tribe Called Quest. The ceremony to honor the new class will take place Oct. 19 at the Rocket Mortgage Fieldhouse in Cleveland
In addition, the musical influence award will go to a trio of blues heroes – Alexis Korner, John Mayall and Big Mama Thornton.
Jimmy Buffett will be honored posthumously with the musical excellence award, along with MC5, Dionne Warwick and Norman Whitfield.
