Downtown Cleveland, Inc. is awarded $100,000 Community Placemaking Grant from Projects for Public Spaces!
- The grant will allow us to elevate Public Square to a more community-centered space.
- We will spend the remainder of the year working with the parks experts at Project for Public Spaces to engage community members in creating a shared vision and to implement the improvements.
- Key Initiatives include:
- Dedicated staff and storage hub
- Enhanced resident engagement through physical investments
- Simplified Event Permitting
- It is with investments such as these that we create an 18-hour, 15-minute city center that is inviting and attracts talent, jobs, residents, and businesses.
In addition to physical improvements, we keep the city programmed year-round.
