An American Airlines flight attendant who’s been arrested for secretly recording video of a teen girl using the restroom had made recordings of four other girls on previous flights, prosecutors say.
Charlotte resident Estes Carter Thompson III, 36, was originally accused of hiding his iPhone in a first-class lavatory in September to capture video of a 14-year-old girl. The phone was discovered after the girl noticed a small light under the seat, according to a lawsuit filed by the girl’s parents in December.
Since then, investigators have discovered videos of at least four other girls Thompson had secretly recorded on other flights, according to U.S. Attorney Joshua S. Levy. It’s unclear whether Thompson will be charged for the previous incidents.
