Miami Dolphins wide receiver Tyreek Hill left practice early on Wednesday after he learned his Miami mansion was on fire.
The blaze, which fire department officials managed to contain to one room, sent huge billows of black smoke into the air and firefighters made holes in the roof to keep it from spreading. It was extinguished within 45 minutes of the emergency crew’s arrival, according to the Miami Fire Department.
All of Hill’s family members – including his pets – made it out of the home unharmed, fire officials say. The cause of the blaze is under investigation, they add.
