Trevor Jacob is a pilot and former Olympic snowboarder who competed in the 2014 Sochi games. On Nov. 24th, 2021, the United States Attorney's Office says, Jacob intentionally crashed a Taylorcraft BL-65 plane “to make money.” Jacob pled guilty in June 2023, and on December 4th was sentenced to 6 months in federal prison for “obstructing a federal investigation by deliberately destroying the wreckage.”
