The post-Terry Francona era has officially arrived in Cleveland. The Guardians named Stephen Vogt [[ VOTE ]] their newest manager yesterday. ESPN reports the former All-Star catcher agreed to a three-year deal. Vogt replaces Francona, who retired after 11 seasons with Cleveland and helped guide the team to six playoff appearances. He holds the franchise record for most wins by a manager with 921. This will be Vogt's first job as a manger after spending last season as a bullpen coach with the Mariners. The 39-year-old retired after the 2022 season following a 10-year major league career.
