At Least Three Medina County Schools Receive Bomb Threats

(Medina County) - The Medina County Sheriff's Office says there were phoned-in bomb threats Monday at a number of schools in the county. At least three such threats were received.

Administrators at Medina High School and the Medina County Career Center said in emails sent out to parents that the threats at their schools were deemed non-credible. Neither school sent students home.

However, officials at Highland High School made the decision to evacuate the school, and send students home early. The Highland Local Schools say they sent students home out of an abundance of caution.

These bomb threats came just two days after phoned-in bomb threats on Saturday to two big box stores in Medina Township.
