Ohio Governor Mike DeWine is encouraging Ohioans to get COVID-19 vaccinations, just a week after he himself got COVID.
DeWine says he tested positive for COVID-19 on September 19th and had a fever and mild cold symptoms, but says it could have been much worse if he was not vaccinated.
The governor added that only around 87-thousand Ohioans have received the latest COVID-19 shot, which he says he strongly recommends for the elderly or those with underlying health problems.
