The Guardians dropped their series to the Giants following a 6-5, extra innings loss in the finale from San Francisco. The score was tied at five runs apiece in the bottom of the 10th inning until Lamonte Wade Jr. ended the game on a sacrifice fly. Xzavion Curry got the loss after surrendering the unearned run in relief while Jose Ramirez led the offense with a two-run bomb in the first inning. Cleveland dropped to 69-and-78 and is still second in the AL Central. The team opens a three-game set with the Rangers at Progressive Field tomorrow.
