The Guardians fell to the Twins 10-6 in their series opener from Minneapolis. Xzavion Curry got the loss after surrendering six runs over two innings of work. Bo Naylor slugged a two-run homer while Gabriel Arias went two-for-four with an RBI and two runs scored. Cleveland fell to 62-and-70 and is second in the AL Central. The Guardians trail Minnesota by seven games for first place. Game two of the three-game set takes place tonight.
