The Guardians salvaged their series against the Rays following a 9-2 victory from St. Petersburg. Tanner Bibee earned the win after surrendering two runs on seven hits over seven innings. Andres Gimenez went four-for-five at the dish with a home run and two RBI while Gabriel Arias also went yard. Cleveland improved to 57-and-62 and is still second in the AL Central. The team heads back to Ohio for a two-game set against the Reds in Cincinnati tomorrow night.
