Framber Valdez tossed the 16th no-hitter in Astros' team history to lead Houston to a 2-0 win over the Cleveland Guardians at Minute Maid Park. Gavin Williams got saddled with the loss after giving up two runs on four hits while striking out six batters over five innings. Oscar Gonzalez drew the lone walk for Cleveland, which dropped to 53-and-55. The Guardians are still second in the AL Central. The Guardians will try to salvage the series this afternoon.
