A 25-year-old man was arrested for allegedly riding a scooter through two New York City boroughs and randomly shooting people.
During the shootings on Saturday (July 8), the shooter wounded three people and killed an 87-year-old man in the Richmond Hill area of Queens.
Assistant Police Chief Joseph Kenny said in a news conference, “We don’t know the motive. It seems his acts were random.”
The New York Police Department has not revealed the identity of the alleged shooter.
