Guardians Lose To KC 4-1 - Bieber Struggles - 1st Place-45-45 At Break

The Guardians failed to sweep the Royals. Cleveland defeated Kansas City 4-1 in AL Central action at Progressive Field. Starting pitcher Shane Bieber was charged the loss after allowing four earned runs through six-and-a-third innings. Andres Gimenez drove-in Cleveland's lone run as the team fell to 45-and-45. The Guardians return to action on the road against the Texas Rangers on Friday night.
