The Guardians fell in their series finale against Atlanta. Cleveland lost to the Braves 8-1 at Progressive Field. Starting pitcher Cal Quantrill was charged the loss after allowing five earned runs through four-and-a-third innings. The Guardians were limited to seven hits and went 0-for-11 with runners in scoring position. The Guardians lost two of three to Atlanta to slip to 42-and-44. They will host the Kansas City Royals tonight for the start of a four-game set with right-hander Tanner Bibee on the mound.
