Guardians lost both games of their doubleheader against the Mets from Flushing. Cleveland fell in game one after Starling Marte crushed a go ahead, two run homer off Trevor Stephan. The team dropped game two 2-1 after Jeff McNeil hit a sacrifice fly to score the game winning run in the eighth inning. The Guardians got swept in the series and are third in the AL Central at 20-and-26. The team opens a three-game series against the White Sox in Cleveland tonight. Hunter Gaddis gets the start.
