The Red Sox claimed the rubber match of their three-game series after taking down the Cleveland Guardians 7-1 at Fenway Park. Logan Allen struck out eight batters while allowing two runs over five innings for his first loss of the year. Amed Rosario drove in the only run of the game for the Guardians, who fell to 13-and-15. Cleveland is second in the AL Central. The team opens a three-game series in New York against the Yankees tonight.
