Lightning might not strike the same place twice, but apparently it can strike three times.
Just ask an unidentified truck driver from Charles County, Maryland. He just won $50,000 from laying the state lottery – for the third time in 11 months, lottery officials have revealed. What’s more is he won all three times – for a total of $150,000 – by playing the same set of numbers.
“It hit last year and it hit again,” the man says. “My wife said, ‘Let’s play this number.’ And we keep winning with it. You never know. You can’t win if you are not in it."
