Bed Bath & Beyond is the latest major retail chain to file for Chapter 11 bankruptcy.

The home goods chain will begin closing its 360 Bed Bath & Beyond stores and 120 Buy Buy Baby stores, which remain open for now.

Stores will stop accepting coupons on Wednesday, and no longer accept gift cards after May 8th.

In a statement posted to its website, the company said "Thank you to all of our loyal customers. We have made the difficult decision to begin winding down our operations".

Bed Bath & Beyond has seen its sales decline sharply in recent year, losing over $225 million just last quarter.
