The Guardians were unable to sweep the Nationals following a 7-6 loss in DC. Nick Sandlin got the loss after allowing two runs in relief. Steven Kwan drove in a pair of runs for Cleveland, which dropped to 9-and-7. The Guardians took two-of-three in the series and are second in the AL Central. The team opens a three-game series against the Tigers in Detroit tonight. Hunter Gaddis gets the start opposite Eduardo Rodriguez.
