Nearly 18,000 cattle were killed in a barn explosion at a Texas dairy farm.
The blast erupted Monday evening, injuring one worker inside the milking facility.
Authorities say only a 'small percentage' of cattle survived the explosion and fire.
The Animal Welfare Institute says it's the deadliest barn fire for cattle on record.
