The Guardians scored a late run and beat the Yankees 3-2 in Cleveland. The game was tied at two apiece in the seventh inning until Josh Naylor hit a sac-fly to score the go ahead run. Emmanuel Clase shut the door on New York in the ninth to earn his third save of the season. Shane Bieber got the win after surrendering two runs over seven-plus innings as the team improved to 7-and-4. The Guardians will try to carry the momentum into the rubber game tonight. Hunter Gaddis gets the nod while Gerrit Cole takes the mound for New York.
