CSU Goes On Late Run To Defeat Wright State 85-68

CLEVELAND, OH--- The Vikings have moved into a tie for second place in the Horizon League, just a game out of first with a 85-68 win over the Wright State Raiders Friday night.

The game overall was closely contested, especially through the fast paced first 30 minutes or so. Then Drew Lowder and Yahel Hill would pick up the pace with 2 quick 3 pointers, and the Vikings were up and running from there. Lowder would finish the game as the 2nd Viking in double figures finishing the game with 16 points and 4 assists. Hill would score 17 off the bench making 6 of his 8 FG attempts. We would also see possibly the Vikes '22-'23 MVP in Tristan Enaruna drop a 20 point double-double pulling in 11 rebounds, dishing out 4 assists and blocking 3 shots Friday night.

Late in the second half, propelled by Lowder and Hill's 3 pointers, the Vikings absolutely took off with the game in the last 4 minutes, extending their lead to as much as 22 in those final minutes. As I mentioned before we had 4 Vikings in double figures scoring, Tae Williams would be the 4th scoring 3 points and helping out CSU big time grabbing 9 boards.

The Vikings are back in action Sunday afternoon from the Wolstein Center for a scheduled 3 pm tip off. You can hear the game on WTAM 1100 AM, 106.9 FM, the free iHeartRadio app, or HERE
