New York, NY -- Despite a strong outing by Allen and Mitchell, the Cavaliers fall to the Knicks 103-105 in downtown New York. Key contributions in this game include Jarret Allen with another double double for the season, Donovan Mitchell with 24-8-8, and on the other side Julius Randal with a game high 36 points along with 13 assists and 4 rebounds.

A scorching first quarter by the Knicks set the pace for the game, shooting 8 for 10 from behind the arc including 17pts in the first for Julius Randal. The Cavaliers were able to battle back late despite the Knicks dominating play, but unfortunately fell short in this one. New York's 50% from three undoubtedly contributed to their win tonight, but more importantly they held Cleveland's bench to 12 points, all of which being in the first half of the ball game.

Cleveland will travel to Houston to take on the Rockets at the Toyota Center on January 26th, you can listen on WTAM 1100 AM, 106.9 FM, and on your free iHeartRadio app!
