CLEVELAND, OH--- The Cleveland State men's basketball team won another close contest Saturday afternoon by a final score of 82-77. Turnovers were the Phoenix's kryptonite as CSU would convert 19 points off of 13 turnovers.
Green Bay did start off surprisingly hot, coming into this matchup the Phoenix weren't known for their 3pt shooting, but the Phoenix came out nailing 3 straight 3 pointers to start the game, finishing 46% from behind the arc all day, making a season high 11 as a team. Every starter for Green Bay was in double figures scoring tonight, with Zae Blake and Garreen Davis leading the way with 18 points. Blake was an astonishing 6 for 6 from 3pt range today. The Vikings had a decent night from behind the arc as well, especially if your name was Drew Lowder, who shoot 4 for 6 from 3pt range scoring a team leading 21 points off the bench. Right behind him was Tristan Enaruna, who wasn't hot from 3pt range, but was 7 for 10 from the field with 20 points along with 6 rebounds. 2 more Vikings were in double figures in Deshon Parker and Deante "Spider" Johnson who both scored 10.
