Playhouse Square Commissions Artists Finish Mural in KeyBank Concourse

Cleveland, OH – Playhouse Square announced Tuesday the completion of their 100th-anniversary mural. Created by Northeast Ohio artists Nathalie Bermudez and Alicia Vasquez, the 106-foot-long work of art celebrates the not-for-profit organization’s centennial theme, “Together We Shine.” The painting of the mural took about two months to complete.

Guests to Playhouse Square can find the mural in the KeyBank Concourse as they enter the performing arts center from the garage.

"With the addition of Alicia's and Nathalie's mural in the KeyBank Concourse, audiences can immerse themselves in the arts from the moment they enter Playhouse Square," said Gina Vernaci, Playhouse Square President and CEO. "The joyful illustrations in this painting allow us to create a welcoming atmosphere for our guests, shine a light on our incredible talent here in Northeast Ohio and celebrate Playhouse Square's centennial anniversary."
