Cavs Keep Home Magic Alive Defeat Mavericks 100-99 In OT

CLEVELAND, OH--- The magic is alive at Rocket Mortgage Fieldhouse as the Cavaliers defeated the Dallas Mavericks 100-99 in overtime Saturday night. With this win the Cavs' home record is now a NBA best 14-2. Coming into tonight's game, the Cavs were 4-0 in overtime games this season, they now improve to 5-0.

Both the Mavericks and Cavaliers were coming off of back to backs heading into tonight's matchup, but you couldn't tell with either team as both Dallas and Cleveland showed fight all night long. There were multiple standout Cavs tonight, Donovan Mitchell, Darius Garland, and Evan Mobley again with his 4th quarter heroics. Evan Mobley, along side his 17 points tonight would hit his one and only 3 pointer late in the 4th quarter, a big time bucket. Donovan Mitchell did his thing as always, scoring 25 points dishing out 3 assists and pulling in 4 rebounds. Darius Garland had a double double tonight, dishing out multiple dimes that lead to him racking up 12 assists alongside 18 points.
