Elon Musk's latest email to Twitter employees demands they make a 'hardcore' pledge to stay with the company.
In the email, obtained by the Washington Post, Musk says workers "will need to be extremely hardcore", adding "This will mean working long hours at high intensity".
Musk then had employees pledge their commitment directly: "If you are sure that you want to be part of the new Twitter, please click yes on the link below".
He said anyone who does not respond with 'yes' by Thursday at 5pm will be fired with three months severance pay.
Musk has already laid off nearly half of Twitter's workforce since taking over last month.
