Opening statement:

“Just got off the field. A good day out there. Continuing on the preparations for this week. We understand how big of a game it is because it is at our place and it is a division opponent. We are excited for the opportunity. It is a good football team, like we have talked about all week. Really good football players on all three sides of the ball for them. Well coached. We know we have to play our best. We have to play a 60-minute football game, a complete football game to go get that victory.”

On confidence level that LB Jeremiah Owusu-Koramoah will be able to play on Monday:

“It is really we will see. We will see how the next 48 hours go, how he responds to treatment and those type of things.”

On when Owusu-Koramoah sustained the knee injury:

“He maybe came in postgame a couple of days after the game maybe feeling an injury lingering.”

On if CB Greg Newsome II was able to participate in practice this week:

“Yeah, a little bit.”

On if T Joe Haeg sustained another concussion this week:

“No, I don’t know how to put it exactly, but he is still experiencing some symptoms, if you will. Just being very cautious and appropriate with that.”

On facing the Bengals with CB Denzel Ward out, CB Greedy Williams questionable and Newsome questionable:

“It is one of those situations where you have to see who is available to you and you have to go play, and you have to go play our brand of football. If those guys can’t go, the next man has to step up.”

On if the Browns will suit up former CB Joe Haden, who retired as a member of the team today:

“He is retired (laughter).”

On if RB Jerome Ford is close to being designated to return from injured reserve:

“He is getting close, yes. I could see post-bye for sure.”

On Ward being day to day with a concussion and if there is any worry it could be a long-term injury:

“With all of those, you have to treat them so specifically to the player, to the symptoms and those type of things and really treat it day by day, and it does get treated like that. You check in every day and make sure that the person is progressing appropriately before they move on to the next part of that protocol.”

On if DE Myles Garrett is continuing to improve and produce more in games with time following injuries sustained from the one-car accident:

“He is definitely getting healthier, yes. As he gets healthier, I think it shows up in practice and in these games that he is feeling more like himself.”

On if the Browns used more bunch formations in last week’s game compared to earlier in the season:

“I don’t know – I will go have the coaches check (laughter). Not specifically.”

On the Bengals having success in recent weeks:

“They are getting off to fast starts. In the pass game, they are getting a ton of YAC (yards after catch) from their receivers. The quarterback (Bengals QB Joe Burrow) is making really good decisions. Defensively, they are playing sound ball. They are playing really good in the second half of football games. They are playing good football.”

On if the Browns conduct extra meetings prior to night games:

“We do. We will have our normal meetings the night before the game and then we will have an additional walkthrough on both offense and defense with an additional special teams meeting the day of the game.”

On recollections on Haden’s career and Haden being at the CrossCountry Mortgage Campus today:

“I just met Joe for the first time. I didn’t know Joe prior to today. He is out there with his family and got to shake his hand and congratulate him. He is a great, great player in this league. I have competed against him over the years. Just a dynamic football player. I know this place is special to him, and I think he is appreciative of being back here.”
