A Guardians starting pitcher made history during the team's 5-3 win over the Royals in Cleveland. Cal Quantrill got the win pitching five innings while giving up one run on four hits. The starter extended his regular season unbeaten streak at home to 14-and-0, which matches the longest streak for any pitcher at a ballpark since 1901. The Guardians will play the Rays in the first round of the M-L-B playoffs. Game one of the best-of-three series takes place in Cleveland on Friday. The team wraps up the regular season today against the Royals.
