St. Ignatius & Mentor High Square Off At First Energy Stadium Friday Night

CLEVELAND – Saint Ignatius will host Mentor Friday night at FirstEnergy Stadium, the first time these two schools will play each other there. Similar to Browns home games and all major events at FirstEnergy Stadium, the NFL’s Clear Bag policy will be in place Friday evening. It is recommended that fans do not bring bags to games, but each fan is permitted one clear plastic bag that does not exceed 12”x6”x12” OR a small clutch bag approximately the size of a hand. Backpacks and fanny packs of any kind and purses or other bags that do not meet these qualifications are strictly prohibited.

This is the 40th and final season for Head Football Coach Chuck Kyle as he will retire at the end of the season. This will be the 27th overall meeting between Saint Ignatius and Mentor, with the Wildcats owning a 14-12 record in the series
