Second Car Jacking Suspect Arrested By Solon Police

SOLON, OH - Donteze Congress of Maple Heights, 18, was arrested by Solon Police detectives and charged with Aggravated Robbery. He is the second suspect arrested for carjacking a Beachwood man on Glenallen Avenue in Solon on August 9. The victim was driving south on Glenallen when his black Volvo was struck from behind by a silver vehicle. When he got out to investigate, he was robbed at gunpoint by by masked men. The black Volvo was recovered with the aid of vehicle tracking in Garfield Heights. The first suspect, Thomas Williams of Maple Heights, 18, was arrested at that time. He was charged earlier also with Aggravated Robbery.
