PARMA, OH - A corrections officer for the city of Parma found inmate Kevin Lowman unresponsive inside his cell on Sunday night. Correction and police staff immediately began providing life saving measures to Lowman as paramedics from the Parma Fire Department responded to the scene. Parma paramedics took over the life saving measures, but he was pronounced deceased at 10:31 PM.
Lowman was arrested on August 6th where he was booked into the Parma Jail for new charges of felony domestic violence and criminal damaging. He was 29-years-old.
This case remains under investigation.
