CLEVELAND - On Friday, July 15th, The Salvation Army in the Cleveland West Park Neighborhood will partner with The Greater Cleveland Food Bank to host free produce giveaways for the first month of three. The group will give away 12,000 pounds of fresh produce a month to local people.
People looking to take advantage of the giveaway must provide proof of residence. The giveaway will be held at The Salvation Army West Park Corps, at 12645 Lorain Ave. The giveaway starts at 10:00 am and goes until 1:00 pm or while supplies last.
Future dates for the monthly event will be Friday, August 19th, and Friday, September 16th.
