BEREA - Cleveland Browns Quarterback Deshaun Watson has come to confidential settlements with 20 of the 24 women who accused him of sexual misconduct. Watson was a member of the Houston Texans when the alleged sexual misconduct occurred in 2020 and early 2021. The Browns traded for Watson in March of this year. Attorney Tony Buzbee released a statement today saying that Watson settled all but four of the sexual misconduct suits filed against him. The women in the lawsuits accused Watson of exposing himself and touching them inappropriately during massage appointments. Earlier this year, a grand jury decided not to indict Watson after a police investigation of the claims.
There is still a possibility the NFL could punish or suspend Deshaun Watson, but that has yet to be decided.
