A North Carolina man who once won a $10 million lottery prize will spend the rest of his life behind bars for the murder of his girlfriend.

54-year-old Michael Todd Hill was sentenced to life in prison last week for fatally shooting 23-year-old Keonna Graham in July 2020.

Hill admitted to police that he shot Graham after discovering that she'd been texting other men.

A former nuclear plant worker, in 2017 Hill won $10 million from an Ultimate Millions scratch-off ticket.
