The Guardians scored four times in the bottom of the eighth inning during their 7-3 win over the Royals in Cleveland. Andres Gimenez broke a 3-3 tie with a go-ahead three-run bomb to put Cleveland up for good. Jose Ramirez also hit his 13th home run of the season during the victory, and Nick Sandlin earned his fourth win out of the bullpen. The Guardians have won two of their last three. Emmanuel Rivera went deep in the losing effort, and Collin Snider was tagged with the loss in relief. The Royals have dropped three of their last four.
